Of Candor is a folk-pop artist whose live performance features acoustic guitar and a soothing, virtually meditative voice that puts a captivatingly hopeful spin on introspective folk/pop music. By way of catchy melodies that you're sure to be singing after the show, and a mix of strummed chords and soft finger-picked riffs, Of Candor provides a show with depth. Her music offers audiences a subtle permission to slow down. A blend of melancholy and uplifting, the lyrics and soft nature of Woods' vocal tone makes audiences feel seen and heard in a meaningful way.

ABOUT THE ARTIST/BIO
Of Candor is an Edmonton based folk/pop artist whose music has earned her an Edmonton Music Awards nomination (2017) and a main stage slot at Kaleido Family Arts Festival (2019). Her music is influenced by the songwriting and sounds of other folk and pop artists Luca Fogale, Donovan Woods, and Phoebe Bridgers. With captivating melodies and dreamy textures, Of Candor’s music is introspective and catchy. The lyrics of her songs accessibly capture an inner dialogue shaped by themes of discovery, self-doubt, and growth. It is through these feelings of darkness that we can begin to bring in our own light.
Growing up an introvert and the youngest of five children, she could often be found quietly writing in her bedroom – be it music, fictional stories, or in her journal. She continues to explore art and expression of the human experience through her music. To date, Of Candor has shared the stage with such talented acts as Luca Fogale, Scenic Route to Alaska, Sister Ray, and Josh Sahunta in venues and festivals in Alberta. She has also been featured on local TV through Shaw TV's, "Edmonton Unplugged".
